You seem like one interesting individual who understands hard work and dedication, thank you for sharing your past occupations and schooling. I often get stuck behind all the details, for instance in my art there is no real shapes or structures, just another line I have added to the previous line, when making games I never actually finish them because I keep working on fine details and unnecessary mechanics to make it function more realistically or how I desire it to. I have been known to make tools to fix things, like working on my skateboard, I have made tools out of tape and bolts before, I make my own paintbrushes a lot when drawing on rocks with my finger paint.
