The doctor did a neurological test and didn't find anything. The CT scan and MRI also didn't show anything bad.
I've been off of the med for two weeks. Shouldn't the side effects have gone away? Or can the side effects become permanent?

I'm sorry you're dealing with this. I have experienced severe withdrawal effects from one med which continued much longer than the official info. would state.
I personally do not think that what you are experiencing will become permanent (I have never been a medical professional or clinical psychologist..)
