I had this happen to me a year and a half ago. My pdoc of 20 years retired. She did it in an ethical way by giving us list of doctors she recommends and alerting them that she was retiring and that her former patients would be seeking care. The one I have now is nice although a little stricter than my former doc. But I also have been stable on meds for years. I can only imagine how someone who is in crisis or not stable would feel. Do you have a game plan with your current doc for how she is going to recommend care for you?
