I took Lamictal for eight years 300 mg a day I did not have an issue with writing or twitching. My balance the last year I was taking it was absolutely horrid as a matter fact when they hospitalized me last summer they babbled something about my balance issue. Once I went off Lamictal my balance improved a lot.
