I remember the Livestrong thing too. That must have been before Lance Armstrong admitted to using performance enhancing drugs.

You might be too young to remember this, but in the late 80s, early 90s there were these "slap bracelets". Basically it was like a metal strip that when you slapped it on your arm would coil around your wrist. I had to wear mine all the time.
