I've been on disability for a long time, so I generally don't wear skirts/dresses or fancy blouses, unless I'm going out for a special occasion. In the summer, I tend to wear the same three or four pairs of shorts and some light blouse. The niceness of the blouse depends on if I'll be doing a lot of housework or if I'm going out in public or to an appointment. The rest of the seasons, I tend to wear the same two or three pairs of jeans. I often wear the jeans multiple times before washing. The shirts/blouses are either similar to summer or if I'm chilly, casual cotton long-sleeves.

In the winter when I go out, I have about four gorgeous coats I switch between. In the autumn, I wear my cool brown leather jacket, when I go out. I can't even remember how many compliments I have received on the coats, from both people I know and several strangers. I always give credit to my husband for them, because he's the one that bought them for me. The black one is super stylish. The other two are lovely bright colors (lilac and burnt orange). I do stand out because so many women wear only duller colors or simpler cuts.

Definitely when I'm going out in public to a place I want to feel good at myself (or to flirt with some men), I dress up a little more. I do like to flirt! Before the pandemic, I had a few guys I regularly saw that I hugged and kissed. Now it's 6-feet away, pretty much. It's kind of sad, especially since many of them I'll either not see again, or won't get back to the hugs and kisses with. I'm moving to another continent soon. A lot of proper goodbyes will be missed.
