So after my original post and reading everybody else's answers. I decided I needed to put more thought into the rules Emdr T plays. I have been missing long term T a lot lately which usually causes me to put dome walls up with Emdr T. Emdr T is a good role model of good self care. she reminds me frequently that taking care of me is as important as taking care of others.

She is somewhat a spiritual director. We are the same religion she from birth and has attended many various churches and has beliefs and thoughts that are somewhat different than mine. We get into some great spiritual discussions and teach each other. Often we discuss how my faith plays into my healing.
