So I pretty much will wash it on an every other day schedule. Once in a while every third day. So I got a clarifying shampoo and tried it this morning to see if it makes my hair less oily. We'll see. I was reading online and it said not to over do it with the clarifying shampoo because it can lead to your hair overreacting and getting more oily.

I'm frustrated with my Mom for continually pointing out that my hair is oily. I feel like I am doing the best I can. I am doing so well in so many other areas. And I was thinking the only thing that has changed in six months is the supplements that I take when I feel like taking them, fish oil and Omega something. I don't know if that could be causing my hair to be more oily but my mom is getting on my nerves about my hair. Plus it has been summer here and hot so of course my hair is going to sweat. Or my head. Ugh. I don't know what else to do.
Washing frequently does make it oilier. I only wash mine once a week now, and I use Wen, or t-gel. I used to wash much less frequently so once a week is great for me. You have to use Wen according to instructions though. Take a large amount to massage into the scalp and hair, depending how long it is (I use a handful, wash the scalp and hair, rinse rinse rinse, then take a very small amount to use as a leave-in on my ends). It is amazing. I need to get my hair cut though because it's too thin.

Sorry your Mom has been dwelling on it. [emoji813]
