Sorry you are both going through this - I don't have any experience of this and it would be unwise to speculate by internet but the main thing is she has an appointment and presumably this means she recognises she is behaving unusually.

It's wonderful you are supporting her but hope that you aren't carrying too much responsibility upon yourself when you write about 'bringing her out of this', because some things are beyond our control and supporting each other is all we can do.
