Yes, the wings were still good a little burned. They were cooked just right except for the burned part but that made them crispy. (You're supposed to use baking powder to get them to crisp up.)

Smoke detectors can be set off just from the change of temperature. Before I ripped mine off the ceiling it used to go off whenever I took a shower and the apartment got warmer. Ridiculous. I realize they can save lives, but they sure can be a pain.
