The pdoc I had when living in Calif researched alternate medications for those of us who had horrible reactions to all the meds. He found that taking 1800mg of omega -3 EPA (not DHA) actually helps the depression. Taking a supplement with both, you have to make sure the amount of the EPA is 1800mg/day.
