Pork roll is my favorite breakfast meat. If I ever move out of NJ it will be the thing I miss most! For me it has to be Taylor brand, although shoprite has a good store brand too. I just had a pork roll and cheese on Saturday

like you said, though, can’t be made from scratch unless you’re into meat grinding and casing sausage...and even then I’m not sure exactly what gives it that distinctive taste!
