Happy Belated Halloween!

Okay, so... I'm not sure how to go about this but what I do know is that I want to help my mother get the assistance that she deserves.

She has been bed-ridden for almost 3 years and doctors did little to help. Also local health care agents did not do a very good job at assisting her because it was still very pricy and there was a limit on how much they could spend on her. (As far as I know.)

We stopped taking her to the community doctor because its difficult to move her and the way they handled her situation wasn't the best either. The same goes for her urologist.

All they did was check her... and send her off or prescribe her more damn meds. They didn't want to waste their time on her.

We've been getting her more affordable medication from Mexico anyways now (I live by the Mexican border, so we go there because the medication in the state is very expensive).

To shorten the story,

I want to help her walk again but I don't know how to go about it. I'm not sure if she'll need a doctors written prescription or if she has to see one? I know very well the doctors or whomever are gonna be pissed that we've been taking care of her on our own (although, they clearly weren't doing a better job than we are) and I want her to go into physical therapy or some kind of rehabilitation!!

It saddens me that she's bed-ridden. She's become that way because of her un-controlled diabetes and sustained a leg injury as she was walking up the stairs. It scared her really badly...

She used to walk and she was so liberated until her health took a terrible turn for the worst. It took awhile but we've gotten her diabetes under control but now we want her to be physically able-bodied again. At least her legs still have feeling and she can move.
