Hi there,
I'm sorry to hear what you are dealing with, in my honest opinion, and only my opinion, it seems to me she is entering a manic episode, and if so, she needs to seek professional help, in order to help nip this before it gets worse. Is there any way you or another person close to her to bring her attention to her behavior? Is it possible her losing a loved one has been a trigger? Is she on meds and under treatment for Bipolar? If so, she needs to contact her pdoc and/or therapist.
I wish I had more info/feedback to offer you, but it's hard when a person really doesn't know the person in the 3D, but I must say, I personally feel she is episodic and hope she gets immediate professional help before this escalates.
I wish you and her lots of luck with whatever you and/or she decides.
Please take care.
