I know two young people with usher syndrome. Losing eye sight and hearing over time and becoming deaf and blind. They are already deaf, blindness comes. next. Every time you think it’s bad, think how BAD it could really be. Then it’s not looking as drastic. Just my take on it. Sorry no help from me about karma, I don’t believe in such a thing
I am not saying you shouldn’t believe in things, but try to look at uplifting hopeful messages, not something depressing you have no control over like past lives

Have you ever seen the movie, "My life as a dog"? It's about just that topic: a young boy always thinking of how it could be worse.
Yes, it's easy to drown in one's own sorrows - I always appreciate perspective. Thing is. many, if not most, people have challenges and difficulties to overcome. We all have our own unique set of challenges to overcome. I do not compare, but I certainly can feel gratitude for all that I do have which are blessings in my life.
Thank you for the reminder to maintain perspective and to be mindful of the blessings.
