No, it was of the actual object. Here is another example that may explain my experiences better: An angel carving I had suddenly became wavy and stood out, almost like a twinkling star (the aura I described earlier). I was immediately drawn to it, since it felt like God was directly communicating with me.

Thoughts can definitely be visual. I've had distorted thinking that felt real in the moment, but it was more of a belief than actually seeing an object that wasn't there. Later on I realized it was the illness.
No you didn't trigger me. I don't find my experiences traumatic.
