Each person has a different experience.

Success basically depends on these things:
- if you are able to completely open up and be honest about what you are thinking n feeling n why
- if you can trust your therapist
- if your therapist is truly there to help, or just get a paycheck (yes that is truly the only goal for some therapists)
- if your therapist is willing to listen to you and view you as an individual rather than simply seeing you as another stat to be added to his or her DSM (some therapists simply "listen" to the DSM or other similar book after arriving at an idea as to what issues you have)

For me ..meds made me worse n therapists were judgemental of me so I never "got better". I learned how to speak their language so I got what I knew I needed when I needed it. I did research online to learn natural ways of helping myself with my issues. That has helped me more than therapy ever did... but I do still have "bad days" .. just not near as many.

I pray you will find what works for you soon. ❤ Take care.
