What kind of cough syrup.....something like DayQuil is generally ok with APs but NyQuil I believe has an adverse reaction.....I’d call your doc or even poison control to find out if it’s an emergency....also a lot of cough syrup has alcohol which shouldn’t be mixed with Xanax and could be an emergency if it’s own.....
