Hi @BethRags. Generic "Rosuvastatin Calcium 25 mg" (a statin known as "Crestor", in brand name), primarily for my high cholesterol, but it is supposed to help with triglycerides, as well. I have not noticed any side effects from this medication (or at least not at my current dose). I'm not sure how much it has helped because I've not yet had a follow-up blood test. I have a telephone appointment with that prescribing doctor on Monday. Frankly, I forget if his office sent blood test requests to my local phlebotomist. I don't think so. If he did, I am too late in getting them. Will admit that my diet hasn't been that great for a while, but I have exercised a lot.

Just took my blood pressure and it looks MUCH improved (119/77 and 72 bpm), and also so far no side effects. I wonder how much is the blood pressure medication and how much stress being alleviated, as of yesterday. For blood pressure, I take generic "Irbesartan 300 mg" (brand is "Avapro"). I'll keep tracking it.
