Just got off the phone with my parents; we decided I'm not going to visit them this December because it's too risky with the COVID numbers the way they are. (I'd have to fly across the country to get there, and then quarantine once I arrived.) I'm sad and disappointed because I haven't seen them in two years or so. (I'm also a little relieved since dealing with my parents has the possibility of becoming explosive.)

Ugh.
