I was in much the same situation, so I can understand to an extent how nervous you must be about the whole situation. My brother (who's 22 as well) has chronic paranoid schizophrenia. He goes in and out of psychosis. Right now, and for the past two years, he has done well and is on his own living 500 mi. away from me. He's like my child because he moved in with me and my husband when he was diagnosed at 15. It's very hard but he's doing very well and I am getting a visit from him today, and I haven't seen him in a year. I am so nervous because he's off his meds and I'm concerned about that, I guess time will tell. I have another 6 or 7 hours to prepare as they're making the trip at the moment. I am crossing my fingers for you and wishing you good luck...

But I did want you to know that someone is here and you are not alone.

Take care and best of luck,
Kimberly

P.S. It'll all be o.k.
