Next time you are going to write something you think might be long, type it into a text editor and save every few minutes and then copy and paste the whole thing into the box here. That way if it disappears, you can try again. When I use my cell phone to post, I frequently get an error message and then when I press the back button everything I posted is *POOF!* gone!
