That's how it looked to me when they first spoke of invading Iraq, and it continues to look that way to me now. They look like grown-up boys itching to participate in playing war games at the expense of our children - itching to test out their firepower at hand. They can't even agree on why we went over there in the first place and why we continue to stay.
That's also how it looks to me when all I see are the daily numbers. We lost 54 last month. We only know of one by name (Shaun). As far as the general public is concerned, without knowing their names or story, the other 53 might as well have been toy soldiers.
