This is therapy related so I hope this is not moved to the dissociative disorder forum. Not many people are on that forum.

I have some issues going on that have been diagnosed as a dissociative disorder. I have the choice to see a specialist who could help me and have definitive diagnosis. As she has seen me in the past. Or I could stay with my therapist who doesn't specialize and has taken back my diagnosis. Pros and cons

Old therapist-
*specializes in Dissociative disorders
* would have a definitive diagnosis
* has no waiting room so I'm subject to the elements
* insists I have the ability to do things I dont which I see as a waste of time
* Always available for sessions(never takes vacations, etc.)
* I'm not fully certain I have the diagnosis she's given

Current therapisr-
* Not big on diagnosis
* has no dissociative disorder training
* has waiting room
* takes lots of vacations but can reach her sometimes through email or text. Sometimes she takes 3 month vacations and is asked to not be contacted.
* is very wishy washy which I dont like but I dont want to rush my diagnosis if its not the correct one
* im able to tell her anything

Both seem somewhat judgemental. I guess that's a human trait.

Any advice would be great. TIA
