I think under those circumstances that there is no good way to tell him. I'd just say something matter-of-fact like, "I went to the doctor this past week and s/he confirmed that I am pregnant." He is going to react however he reacts; don't take it personally, it is his reaction and if he's got problems with you being pregnant, that is really too bad.
