I just want to send my thanks to all of you and let you know I am thinking of you all. For me this thread is a source of strength and support. I think is wonderful that so many of you are from so many different countries and we are sharing our stories.
In the UK where I live there were many people ignoring the rules or bending them, it is dispiriting and personally I feel irresponsible inconsistent governance had a lot to do with it. We need good leaders who give clear messages!
Anyhow I do feel lockdown 2 has reminded people what we are dealing with. The rate where I live in is now 200 something per 100,000 It was over 500 before lockdown. This virus is a social disease and responds to social measures.
Just hoping for a safe and swift roll out of the vaccines for those who are able to take It, hopefully enough of us will have the shot for herd immunity to protect those that can't.
