I think my mind is made up. They did my peridontal chart but to me it didn't seem that bad (like there were four teeth that were problems) and I didn't really prepare before the visit. I have literally had them at me for years to do this since I was in my early 30s and I haven't had a tooth fall out yet. The problem though is I don't seem to be able to find ANY dentist who isn't always insisting on this. But this one rubbed me the wrong way. I have a cleaning coming up. I will get that done and then ask for my X-rays and go to another dentist to get my tooth fixed.
