I see the problem, but greeting cards are not written for the most part with honesty in mind, they’re written to make the recipient feel good.
Go for the Shoebox humor cards is my advice.
My father and his sister had this thing where she’d send him the most insulting card she could find, and he in turn would send her the gooeyest, sweetest, sappiest card he could find.
