Not coping. The entire Metropolitan Region is being pre-emptively sent back to phase 2 as of tomorrow. Basically we are back in quarantine on weekends, many non-essential retail/services cannot open on weekends. This is all because of a slight increase in positive cases. Then the Health Subsecretary started to say we should actually go back to quarantine again and, essentially we are damn lucky we weren't.
You've seen my posts here, I am not a Covid denier or anything of the sort. However, I think extreme measures like partial/total lockdowns need to be used with restraint. Our active cases, positivity and ICU use are nowhere close to what they were in May when we were locked down.

So, with that said, I do sort of wonder if the government is seeing how much they can get away with due to the country being in a state of catastrophe/constitutional exception. If they can pre-emptively do a partial or full lockdown of a whole region, what else can they do pre-emptively? This government is very unpopular and protests have started up again.
Just the stress going out to stock up on stuff yesterday and thinking of being trapped in the house again has me emotionally drained.
