I only have the support from my loving boyfriend but I don't want to constantly bother him with my worries and rants. There are some things I dont want to tell him, fears I dont want to tell him for personal reasons. I dont have friends and don't really think I need friends. I am very introverted and find it extremely hard communicating socially and making friends, but I am also happier with my boyfriend and family. I don't have money nor the consent for a therapist. I can't drive yet and am at a lost at what to do. I need help from a counselor or therapist. I want to feel good again.

I don't know where in Calif you are, but I'm here, too. When I was 17 I went to Planned Parenthood and asked about counseling help. They referred me to a clinic and I ended up seeing a therapist for free. He was a good therapist, too. Another place that might help you out is Health and Human Services, wherever you live. A third idea is any teen outreach in your location. For example, in my region there's Diogenes Youth Services. If someone calls them, they can offer referrals that are free.

The opportunities are there, I'm absolutely sure, but it takes serious commitment to stick with it until you find someone. I think it's terrific that you are reaching out for help! I wish you all the luck in the world
