btw, when I was 17 and sought help my mom resisted it because she was convinced that I was telling the therapist about her, and about shite that was going on in my home. I am not saying that's why your mom is resistant to the idea of you getting help, but it's true of some parents...they're afraid they'll be blamed, or they're keeping secrets they don't want told. Just a thought.
