Reward programs work best for me. I’ve heard that is a thing that works really well for people on the spectrum. When I was a teenager I’d get gift cards or fast food if I did what I was supposed to and it really worked well and eventually I just kinda got the hang of things. When I didn’t want to go to my work program when I was 18 my job coach said she’d take me out to lunch if I stayed. Which I did. Another job coach said she’d get me a bookstore gift card if I did what I was supposed to.
I don’t know. I’m just weird the things that work for me. In the job world I do well with team challenges and I won the challenge one time for my team and we all got gift cards. So it still works.
