Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) has worked the best, by far, for me.

Hi Mountaindewed. That's nice that rewards help motivate you, but my only concern about that is the fact that life sometimes must be lived and things achieved, even without rewards. That's a sad lesson to have to learn in life. I even think children must learn that. However, I do think we need to give ourselves pats on the back when we succeed in achieving things, or pushing ourselves to do things that seem difficult, or are undesirable, but necessary. We can't expect others to always be rewarding us. Expecting that can lead to lots of disappointment in life.
