I was in the hospital a long time ago when my dr tried me on L tryptophan. The next morning I went out to the nurses station and I didn't know where my room was or much of anything else. Needless to say my dr had me stay in bed the rest of the day and immediately discontinued the L tyrptophan.

My posting this is to say even though it is a suppliment it can still have adverse effects and care needs to be taken with it.
