We use to have a Hogmanay (New Year's Eve) party back in the 90's early 00's but that stopped. Normally pubs have a lock in and you celebrate with the people in the vars/pubs/clubs.

New Year's Day a tradition in my city is called The New Year Dook which takes place any time from 8am to 3pm on New Year's Day. Its when the crazy people jump into the freezing river. Temperatures reach -10 etc. I do it. But not this year NO celebration as Scotland as of 26th Dec is on full lockdown Covid we all curse you

Question: What is a tradition be in food or drink you have on Hogmanay or New Year's Day?
Hugs from:
Soupe du jour
Thanks for this!
