We get a Frasier fir every year because they are so pretty and smell nice. Our cat doesn't seem to mind, but she is the uptight, non-adventurous sort who would never deign to climb on or drink from the tree. And anyway, she spends most of her day hanging out in the bedroom, avoiding the toddler.
