There might be many reasons for former therapists not staying in touch with former clients. Even if they are allowed to do so, they might not want to due to variety of reasons. She might be too busy or has stuff going on. Also over the years full time therapists meet such a high number of clients that it would be impossible to stay connected to them. Therapists could have literally thousands of clients. It is not realistic. It also depends how long ago was she your therapist? A month? A year?
