I hear you on this. But to offer some reassurance, I suspect (not sure) that he has become a lame duck for the next couple of weeks. I suspect he has been "talked to" in a very serious and powerful way. As you likely know, he is also partly muted by social media and probably higher powers than him, right now.

If thugs try again, they will surely be met with far more security, including the national guard, and suffer far worse consequences than they did yesterday. The government just must be taking this seriously now. After all, the second through fourth most powerful people in the government, plus the VP elect, were put in harms way, not to mention the rest of congress and many others. That kind of war attempt cannot be tolerated.

I really believe that great mercy is being shown to the lame duck. Imagine if someone else did what he did?
