Being alone is better than being perpetually misunderstood by everyone. I don't think I'll ever have normal, healthy relationships again. Neurotypical people don't have the slightest idea of what its like being autistic, especially in a workplace. Even fewer people understand what it is like to have to medicate myself to the point I am a literal walking pharmacy to get through the workday. Don't believe me? Just try explaining to someone how you had to be prescribed an anti-psychotic (one of many) ON THE JOB to help cope with said job. People just don't get it - and I am tired of trying to explain it.
