Yes, I have definitely had brain zaps and bad headaches when starting out on a new AD. The headaches did stop after a short time and the brain zaps lessened. With some SSRI's (especially Zoloft) "sort-of" brain zaps remained...more like...if I turned my head quickly it felt odd. That did go away after I was off the med, though.
