Most definitely try to get the restraining order. Different states and counties have different laws regarding restraining orders. It's best to have it on record that this woman has been harrassing you so that the next time it happens, you have the copy of the restraining order, it's on file with the courthouse so when the police show up they can arrest her for tresspassing and ignoring the restraining order.

I do NOT suggest taking matters into your own hands as then you run the risk of being arrested yourself. Now what in the world good would that do????

Personally, I would not answer the door and just pick up the phone and call the police for an unwanted visitor. Even if you don't have a restraining order, if she is trespassing, she can be removed.
