a few years ago i was having a few medical & mental "issues" & i went to my family dr. and during the appt i brought up about my smoking and under the circumstances maybe he could suggest a method i could cut back maybe try and quit ..
he looked at me and said "no. thats the worst thing for you to do right now is to quit smoking." "try to cut back on how many you smoke a day, but i do not think now is good to quit all together."
i see the warped logic to that tho but that has got to be a first that a dr tells a patient who asks for help to try and quit he advises not a good idea to do that now...
