One time I got 11k increase offer but I felt bad leaving my employment so I am like “I am not sure”, they said what they’ll pay and I was like “when do I start” lol

for 30k increase I’d move to Timbuktu tomorrow . Hahah it’s so great!

Sometimes we don’t even know how much more some place might pay because work places don’t advertise. My husband had to find a new job in the fall because he had to have surgery and his surgeon wouldn’t release him to the old job after it.

So he got an offer at a new place and we were actually prepared for pay cut, well no big deal. In reality they offered 20k more. Same job pretty much. He thought he heard it wrong. “You pay what???” Isn’t it something? Nice surprise!
