Tonight was a little difficult for me. But I just read about two DBT skills that seem silly, but they worked. I did a half-smile and I turned my palms up while extending my arms. I took it one step further by closing my eyes and breathing deeply. I don't understand it, but it shifted my mood. I was able to play my game and have fun. Now, I am motivated to take a shower. I'm thinking I will put my new clothes on.
