Ok, so my otherwise VERY healthy 37-year-old husband just got pneumonia. And I've been trying to figure out how in the world someone like him could catch pneumonia.
And then I freaked out, thinking of one thing.
What if I gave him HIV.
I've been tested every 6 months and I'm clean. I just got tested last weekend in fact. But yeah...I have not exactly been the most faithful wife. He knows about part of my past, but not all of it. I did tell him to go get tested 2 years ago but I'm not sure if he ever did.
I don't know that I've ever been with anyone who had it, and I use condoms every time, but there's always a small risk even with that. I'm just really freaking out now.
Am I just freaking out unnecessarily?? Or should I maybe say something to him or his doctor?
Why else would a healthy 30-something man get pneumonia in the middle of spring??!! Isn't it usually the elderly and kids who get it, and usually in the winter? Or am I just clueless?
