You can get female condoms at most drugstores, I've seen them at several. I haven't tried one yet.

You don't need to get them from your doctor. They do cost considerably more than a male condom - but still not super-expensive. I can't remember but maybe $5 a piece?

If the guy refuses a condom, you can try the female one. But NEVER EVER go without one, especially if you have multiple partners. Is one night of fun really worth risking your life or your fertility?!

One thing I've wondered with the female condom - I guess you'd need lots of lube, because it would cover up the, uh, natural lube. I don't know, never tried it before.

Don't use a male condom and a female condom together - just one or the other but not both.
