In the first lockdown many of the cases in UK came from the Alps, they know this through virus sequencing. In the summer we had learned nothing and opened it all up again. A lot of lobbying from the travel industry which is understandable but the longer this goes on the longer everyone suffers and there are people gone we can't bring back.
