I hate energy drinks. Try to go to bed early. Maybe you can take something over the counter like sleep aid to get full 8 hours before first day of work.
It’s been many years since I started a new job but I remember i literally didn’t sleep before first day in anticipation and I was about to fall asleep at work. Not a good start. I was yawning all day lol
