Could this sensation be medication induced? Did you get this sensation prior to taking the antipsychotic and benzodiazepine? Do you experience the bug sensation on the same body parts such as your hands? If so, it maybe medical.
I remember being very drowsy when I was taking antipsychotics and benzodiazepines. It felt like I was in a perpetual state of stage 1 sleep which is known to cause hallucinations even in "normal" people. I clearly remember hearing voices. At the time I thought I was psychotic. Even the psychiatrist thought so. -- Years later I realized it wasn't psychosis, at all when I developed the illness out of nowhere. At the time I wasn't under psychiatric care and taking medication. The hallucinations I experienced were very different. There was a huge difference.
