Yes, AA and Al-Anon. I also attended some support sessions on handling grief, and a seminar series at my local library on coping with a long-term illness. The latter was not strictly psych, but for any long-term illness. Even though attendees didn't all have psych issues, I learned a lot from them on coping. Obviously there are parallels.

Have you interacted face-to-face with another person with bipolar disorder? What aspects of their bipolar disorder affected you?
